Role Purpose:
To deliver in depth understanding and analysis of financial performance and strategy. Delivery and coordination of insightful and reliable financial guidance to Senior Managers & Executives.
Key Role Deliverables:
Responsible for delivering insightful briefings and analysis of results, including identifying key messages and identification and understanding of emerging threats and opportunities
Delivery of Briefings to Executive level regarding monthly results and responsibility to ensure Board pack has appropriate content and adequately covers emerging threats and opportunities
Responsibility for overall delivery for Half and Full year reporting including briefing packs Responsibility for shaping requirements for forecasting and budgeting including challenge of Business Unit submissions
Delivery of appropriate briefing packs
Provide expert advice, and help drive consistency and best practice
Responsible for challenge and understanding of Group requirements and ensuring consistent approach
Establish and leverage key relationships with senior finance stakeholders, in particular drive and influence an effective relationship with Financial Control and business Decision support teams
About You
You will be a fully qualified accountant with circa 5 years post qualified experience
You will have financial services experience
You will have Decision Support experience beyond qualification and will be able to quickly develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the business
This role will require an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
